I just reached yaks bend and got new armor for cold resist, which has the same stats as my fire resist armor except different resists. anyhow, im at a dilemna. I don't know what to put my runes into, or whether to put runes in either of them. Is there going to be better armor coming up soon? or will this be the best for a while. and which should I be wearing more; the cold resist or the fire resist. I've already put a minor rune of vigor into each of my chest armor pieces.

You will be getting better armor soon enough. If your runes are minor runes, go ahead and plunk them wherever you feel like it. If you need another one, just buy one off a player for 300g gold. If you have major or superior runes though, I would probably save them for a better suit of armor.
